Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup dry old fashioned oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ripe banana broken into a couple chunks
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
  • 1/4 cup cashew butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 2 TBSP avocado oil
  • 1/2 TSP baking soda
  • Pinch salt

Topping Ideas

  • Easy Frosting Drizzle Whisk 1/4 cup powdered sugar with 1.5 TSP of almond milk
  • Yogurt & fresh fruit
  • Mini chocolate chips
  • Shredded coconut

Instructions
 

  • In a food processor, process the oats until it forms a mostly ground flour.
  • Add in all of the remaining cake ingredients. Process until well combined and mostly smooth.
  • Pour into an 8" round, square or heart pan coated with cooking oil.
  • Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes, until it passes the toothpick test.
  • Allow the cake to cool before adding your choice of toppings.
