Looking for fun foodie advent calendar ideas to celebrate the upcoming holiday season? Check out this list of five of my favorites!

I am SO excited that Halloween has come and gone, and now the holiday season is on the horizon. As a big Christmas person who thoroughly enjoys celebrating all of the little magical moments of the holiday season, I love advent calendars. They’re a cute way to soak up the season and present a little something to look forward to each day.
With that being said, instead of doing one of my traditional gift guides for 2025, this year I’m sharing fun foodie advent calendar ideas! I’ve personally tried and tested all of these advent calendars, and each one provides a unique advent calendar offering – from wine and tea, to candies and chocolate. Let’s get to it!
5 Fun Foodie Advent Calendars to Try
Candy of the World Advent Calendar
First up is this awesome Candy of the World Advent Calendar, which includes four sweet treats from a different country every day! This fun foodie advent calendar also includes a booklet with information about the history of each candy.

Every evening, my family and I loved opening the day’s treats and reading about what we’re trying. With flavors like pomegranate jelly candies and salted brownie chocolate squares, they’re perfect for an after-dinner surprise.
Priced at just $35, it’s also a budget-friendly way to celebrate the season with an advent calendar.
Adagio Tea Advent Calendar
Switching gears to beverages, next up on my list is Adagio Teas’ Nutcracker Tea Advent Calendar. This tea advent calendar is perfect for daily tea drinkers like myself to get out of their comfort zone and try new flavors.
A few of my favorite flavors are the caramel creme brûlée and maple creme oolong teas. Adagio’s tea advent calendar is a little treat to look forward to every December morning leading up to Christmas!
This tea advent calendar comes in loose tea, tea bags, and decaf versions – all priced at $34. Check it out here.
In Good Taste Wine Advent Calendar
Next up on my list is the In Good Taste Wine Advent Calendar.
This fun advent calendar features 24 mini wine bottles sourced from France, Chile, Argentina, Australia and California. A couple years back, I gifted my parents this wine advent calendar, and at the same time, my husband and I made our way through the advent calendar as well. It was fun to be surprised with a new wine for happy hour each night of the holiday season!
In Good Taste’s Wine Advent Calendar currently is retailing for $134.99. Check it out here.
Godiva Chocolate Advent Calendar
Who doesn’t love chocolate?! The Godiva Chocolate Advent Calendar makes for a great chocolate lover’s advent calendar. It features a festive mix of Godiva classics, including milk chocolate Praline Hearts and Lion of Belgium, dark chocolate Caramel Embrace and Ganache Hearts, and white chocolate Praline Hearts and Almond Marquis.
The 2025 Godiva Advent Calendar is currently retailing for $55. Check it out here.
LAKRIDS BY BÜLOW Licorice Advent Calendar
If you like licorice, you’ll enjoy this Nordic advent calendar full of lakrids – that’s Danish for licorice – made with real licorice root and wrapped in layers of Belgian chocolate, fruit-dusted shells and glazes. This advent calendar includes 48 pieces of licorices (2/day) with flavors like crispy caramel and strawberries & cream.
Retailing at $69.99, find this unique licorice advent calendar here.

Love these ideas! I’ve gotta check out the tea one!
Thank you! The tea advent calendar is a lot of fun.
This is perfect timing for the holidays! I have that tea calendar, and it’s incredible – I haven’t made my way to the caramel creme brulee yet, but I know I’m going to love it. And that licorice calendar sounds perfect for Laura!! Hope y’all are doing well out there in Cali!
Thank you, I got my act together in getting this post done nice and early 🙂
Oooh love that you have the Adagio tea advent calendar! It’s a little tea surprise each morning right?
The licorice calendar has such interesting flavor profiles.. One of my favorites is their sour strawberry red licorice!
