slivered almonds
preferably honey roasted

unsweetened almond milk

whole ground flaxseed meal

light brown sugar

whole wheat all-purpose flour

strawberry preserves
I used a reduced sugar variety

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350.
Line a 6x9 baking dish with parchment paper.
Combine the oats, flour, salt, flaxseed, almonds, brown sugar and baking powder in a large bowl.
Add in almond milk and vanilla extract, and mix it all together well.
Evenly pour half of the batter into the baking dish. Spread the strawberry preserves on top, then pour the remaining batter on top.
Bake until lightly browned, around 40 minutes.
Allow to cool, then cut into slices.
