Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup creamy almond butter
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup or honey
  • 2 TBSP lite coconut milk
  • 1 TSP vanilla extract
  • 4 medium apples or 5 small apples
  • Toppings of choice, such as sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, or chopped pistachios

Instructions
 

  • Slice the apples (peeling is optional), and place them on a plate or serving dish.
  • Combine the almond butter, honey/maple syrup, vanilla, and coconut milk in a saucepan over low heat. Whisk often as the mixture becomes smooth and melty.
  • Drizzle the caramel sauce onto the apple slices. Sprinkle your favorite toppings over the apples, such as sprinkles, mini chocolate chips, shredded coconut or chopped nuts.
  • Enjoy immediately! Store any leftover caramel in the fridge, and heat it up when ready to use again.
