Honey Baked Pear with an Oat, Date & Almond Topping

Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe Bosc pear
  • 1 TBSP honey
  • 2 TBSP honey slivered almonds
  • 3 pitted dates
  • 1/4 cup old fashioned oats dry
  • 1/4 TSP cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375. Coat a small baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Slice the pear, then layer in the baking dish.
  • Combine the oats, dates, cinnamon, and salt in a food processor, and pulse until oats are fine and dates are chopped into pieces. Spoon on top of pear slices.
  • Add almonds and drizzle honey over pear.
  • Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes, or until pear is tender and almonds are lightly browned.
  • Transfer to a bowl or plate, and enjoy!
