Apple Cherry Walnut Fit Body Bakery Pancakes

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup Fit Body Bakery's Power Up Pancake Mix
  • 2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 TBSP pure maple syrup
  • 1/2 medium apple chopped
  • 1/2 oz walnuts chopped
  • 1/2 oz dried tart cherries
  • 1/4 TSP cinnamon
  • 1/4 TSP pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/4 TSP vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Combine the pancake mix, almond milk and cinnamon. Pour onto on a pancake griddle coated with baking spray and heated to medium low heat, forming 3 pancakes. Cook until lightly browned on each side.
  • Meanwhile, place the chopped walnuts in a small saucepan over medium heat. Dry roast for 3 minutes, then add in maple syrup, chopped apple, pumpkin pie spice and vanilla. Cook until apples are warm and gooey and the mixture is bubbly, stirring often. Add in dried cherries.
  • Place the cooked pancakes on a plate, and top with the apple syrup mixture. Enjoy them while they're warm!
