Happy, happy Friday! As usual, I'm looking forward to the weekend. Then next week I have a 2-day work week, and then I'm heading down to San Diego to spend some time there and celebrate Thanksgiving. I'm excited! Onto workouts... You may have noticed that when I talk about the workouts I've done in a week, I often mention rowing. It's a form of exercise that I started doing a lot of earlier this year. I find it to be really efficient and an awesome form of cardio, and I actually talked about some of the benefits of rowing in this Girls Gone Sporty article. “Sick” Food & My New Love for Rowing
I get bored just thinking about doing the same workout day in and day out, which is why I'm always changing up my exercise routine. In the past week, my workouts have included strength training, plyometric exercises, yoga, the stair master, biking both indoors and outdoors, hiking, and my new favorite piece of gym equipment: the rowing machine. I didn't know what the hell I was doing, but it caught my eye one day so I hopped on it to try it out. I really like how rowing fatigues my arms, gives my legs a bit of a break and is low impact on my joints.
