We love to be festive in my house, and lately, we’ve been all about spooky szn 👻 Here are 3️⃣ easy kid-friendly treats that we’ve made multiple times & loved! More on how to make em:

🕸️ Chocolate Pretzel Spider Webs
You need:
* Pretzel sticks
* White chocolate discs (or chips)
* Milk/dark chocolate discs (or chips)
* Halloween sprinkles and candy eyes

Directions:
1️⃣ Melt your chocolate chips and white chocolate chips separately, either using the double broiler method on the stove on low heat (the way I prefer) or in the microwave at 20 second intervals.
2️⃣ Line 1-2 large baking sheet(s) with parchment paper
3️⃣ Arrange each “web” by creating a circle with 6-8 pretzel sticks, with one end of each pretzel pointing to the center
4️⃣ Transfer melted chocolate to piping bags and snip the ends off
5️⃣ Moving quickly, add some melted chocolate to the center of each pretzel wheel to adhere the pretzels, then create circles with chocolate until you get to the edge
6️⃣ Optional: Run a toothpick down the circles to create more of a web look
7️⃣ Add festive sprinkles & candy eyes, then allow the pretzels to harden before enjoying

🎃 Jack-o-Lantern Quesadillas
You need:
* Small tortillas
* Shredded cheese

Directions:
1️⃣ Use a paring knife to cut out the jack-o-lantern eyes, nose and mouth of a tortilla, then cut this + another tortilla into a pumpkin shape
3️⃣ Add shredded cheese to the bottom tortilla, then place the “face” tortilla on top
4️⃣ Cook on the stovetop on medium heat until the cheese is melted and the tortillas are lightly browned

Celebrated my 17th anniversary with a weekend camping trip to Catalina Island 🏕️🌊🌞 The island is famous for its Mediterranean-like character, rugged terrain and awesome wildlife - including wild bison that were first brought to the island over 100 years ago for a film shoot, the endemic Catalina Island Fox and many, MANY beautiful deer! 🦌🦬🐠

Perched above Taormina, the charming Sicilian hilltop village of 📍Castelmola was built around the ruins of a Norman castle & offers 360-degree views of the Ionian Sea and Mount Etna.

📍Snowline Orchard ~ We stopped here first for mini apple cider donuts — they were still warm 🤤 — & apple cider slushies. They had music playing & people were just hanging out enjoying the great September day!

Hanging with my girl 8,500 feet above the Palm Springs desert floor!

Did you know that when you take the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway up to Mt. San Jacinto State Park, the temperature is 30-40 degrees cooler at the top? 🌲

Hopping on a ride in the world’s largest rotating tram car makes for a unique, kid-friendly adventure in Palm Springs!
